SUMMARY:Exploring the Psalms 3: Psalms to express sorrow and suffering
DESCRIPTION:The third session in our Exploring the Psalms series is all about the important concept of Lament. These psalms express the anguish and despair that people feel\, either individually or as a community\, through their experience of suffering and calling on God to act. This session will help you understand how psalms of lament can enable us to be real about suffering yet also receive God’s grace within it.

SUMMARY:Exploring the Psalms 2: Psalms for giving praise and thanks to God
DESCRIPTION:This is the second session in our series on the Book of Psalms looking at the psalms that help us praise God for who he is and thank him for what he has done. SUMMARY:The Well - 'Salt\, light and sport'
DESCRIPTION:The Well is Church Wigan’s monthly gathering to seek and enjoy God’s refreshing presence. It is informal and contemporary in style\, with a space to sing praises\, learn about how we can grow as disciples\, and to respond in prayer and reflection. \nOur theme this month is all about sports chaplaincy and how we can fruitfully engage in a mission field that nationally consists of more than 160\,000 clubs and 30 million people. As Church Wigan launches its new sports chaplains ministry\, we’re delighted to welcome a very special guest speaker to The Well: the inspiring Warren Evans\, CEO of Sports Chaplaincy UK and Chair of the Bradford Bulls Foundation. Don’t miss! \n
