Today's Prayer: Wigan Council

Image representing Wigan Council

• for all voters and those we elect to serve our local community on Wigan Council, that they would be given wisdom, integrity and humility, that we would support and recognise their service.

• for a spirit of respect among those who hold different political views, and for a sense of common purpose as the Council faces the challenge of funding public services.

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. 1 Tim. 2:1-2
