Our Vision
We long to see the people and places in and around Wigan blossom and rejoice – ‘in Wigan as in heaven.’ This is what we’re doing about it.
Our churches
Church Wigan is a family of over 50 worshipping communities serving areas ranging from Orrell, Billinge and Garswood in the west to Hindley Green in the east, and from Swinley and Beech Hill in the north to Ashton-in-Makerfield in the south.
Some of these are established Church of England parish churches while others are alternative new worshipping communities, all arranged in seven large parishes. Together, they offer diverse ways to help as many people as possible to explore faith and a life with Jesus.
