Wigan Deanery Trust is an independent charity formed in 2019 to support Church Wigan and other charitable partners in their goal to renew church and revive communities in the Borough of Wigan. The focus of activity is the wellbeing of young people and social justice for those who are most marginalised.

The Trust works with partners to identify opportunities and secure funding for new ministries that serve the people and revive the communities of Wigan. Once launched, the Trust provides these ministries with safe governance and helps them grow.

 A core task of the Trust is Support Services: quality administrative and governance support to Church Wigan and its ministries. This helps church workers, saves money, brings expertise and ensures effective legal compliance.
