Our Churches
Church Wigan is the Church of England family in and around Wigan. Our many worshipping communities are grouped into seven parishes.
Some worshipping communities are traditional parish churches; others are fresh expressions of church. You can worship on a Sunday morning or at another time in the week in a setting which suits you. Find one that suits your style.
The beating heart that sustains and grows the mission in each parish is a ‘hub’ – people from different places with a similar passion, sharing resources to see Wigan flourish.

Our Seven Parishes
TOWN CENTRE
Wigan Town Centre covers the centre of Wigan, Swinley, Whitley, Newtown and Worsley Hall.
East
Wigan East, popularly known as Chapelfields, covers Hindley, Hindley Green, Platt Bridge, Abram, Bickershaw and Bamfurlong.
SOUTH
Wigan South covers Ashton-in-Makerfield, Bryn, Downall Green, Garswood, Stubshaw and Billinge.
NORTH WEST
Wigan North West covers Pemberton, Orrell, Kitt Green, Norley Hall and Marsh Green.
