St Paul's, Goose Green
St Paul’s Church is an evangelical fellowship open to the renewing work of the Holy Spirit within its overall life, ministry and mission.
Our worship is varied, from the traditional style of our Holy Communion, Book of Common Prayer, to the informal service of worship aimed toward the whole family.
We aim to enable discipleship to take place through house groups, preaching and teaching throughout all ages.
St Paul’s Church is a welcoming fellowship whose hope is to help people explore the reality of the Lord Jesus Christ and to grow, develop and mature in their Christian faith in relationship with each other and with God as Our Father.
St Paul’s have their Friends Together group and the Transforming Lives for Good group, for more information get in touch with the church directly below.

Lighthouse
Lighthouse is made up of people who either live in Worsley Mesnes or who have a connection with one of the schools there. We are a church group but we don’t expect you to be a Christian to be involved, and not everybody who is part of Lighthouse would call themselves a Christian.
We gather as Lighthouse regularly, and this usually involves food. The reason we gather is to be community, and to follow Jesus. We do this by spending time with each other, by praying together and for each other, by learning about God and what He has to tell us, by singing together, and by eating together.
How we gather changes regularly. The best way to find out is via our private Facecbook group. If you’d like to come along please head to our Facebook page and ask if you can join the group.
Lighthouse also helps wherever we can. We were active during lockdown providing food and household items to families who needed it, we ran errands for people who were housebound, and helped St James’ Primary School with delivering free school meals, education packs, and more. We have also started growing food on the estate and are working with Wigan Council to secure a plot of land for this.
